Initial Consultation The process starts with a full exam, including X-rays and 3D scans, to check your jawbone and gums. This helps ensure you have enough bone for the implants and spot any issues that need fixing. 

Personalized Treatment Plan Based on the exam, a treatment plan is created just for you. This will include the number of implants you need and whether you’ll get fixed bridges or overdentures. 

Tooth Removal and Bone Grafting (if needed) If you have any damaged teeth, they will be removed. If your jawbone needs more strength, bone grafting may be done to make sure the implants have a solid base. 

Placing the Implants The implants are surgically placed into your jawbone. Usually, four to six implants are used to support a full set of teeth. This is done under local anesthesia, with options to keep you more comfortable if needed. 

Healing and Bone Fusion After the implants are placed, it takes about 3-6 months for the implants to fuse with the jawbone in a process called osseointegration. During this time, you may receive temporary teeth to use.  

Attaching the Final Teeth Once the implants have fused with the bone, small connectors called abutments are placed on the implants. These will hold your custom-made permanent teeth, which are then attached, completing the process.
